WHY CAN’T MY LIFE BE LIKE PHINEAS AND FERB’S?
Just building a rocket:
Or fighting a mummy:
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower:
Maybe discovering something that doesn’t exist:
Well.. not giving a monkey a shower:
But surfing tidal waves!
Creating nanobots!
And locating Frakenstein’s brain!
Finding a Dodo bird:
Or painting a continent:
Maybe driving my sister insane!
But then there’s a whole lot of stuff to do before school starts this fall:

If we woke up and learned one morning from reading the newspaper that 12 jumbo jets filled with children had crashed, leaving no survivors, the world would be outraged and distraught. Yet, each day, a child somewhere in the world is dying every 8 seconds from drinking contaminated water — the equivalent of 12 jumbo jets of children dying per day.

Also, I just updated the theme with the new Photoset post types. The Theme Garden file should reflect it in a few days, but until then, if you can’t wait, add this code between your

“Rob Nelissen and Marijn Meijers of Tilburg University in the Netherlands examined people’s reactions to experimental stooges who were wearing clothes made by Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger, two well-known brands that sell what they are pleased to refer to as designer clothing. As the two researchers show in a paper about to be published in Evolution and Human Behavior, such clothes do bring the benefits promised: co-operation from others, job recommendations and even the ability to collect more money when soliciting for charity. But they work only when the origin of the clothes in question is obvious.”

A relative approached me at a family gathering last week. “What do you think of your sister’s hair?” she asked, giving my mane, which admittedly could use a trim, the once-over. “She looks fabulous.”
I was only mildly offended by this pointed exchange. Yes, my sister’s chin-length…
